Make Blogs

If you want to make blogs it can be done completely free. However, there are some drawbacks to doing it the free way. For example, you can use Wordpress.com or Blogger and they will provide your domain and hosting at no cost. The bad part about this is that they have all the control and you have none. If they decide to shut down your blog they can and you can’t do anything about it.

It takes a lot of time to make a blog. There’s a lot of research and writing involved, not to mention work. I mean you can log on and think you’re ready to blog just to find out it’s gone. Don’t get me wrong there’s a few uses for free blogs that make sense. But you have to set them up knowing they may disappear one day.

One of the reasons I make blogs that are free is to test the market. This way I can find out if there is a market for a particular product or niche and not have to spend money. I usually use Blogger for this because Wordpress.com does not allow affiliate links.

If you don’t know what an affiliate link is, it’s a link the visitor, can click on that takes them to a product that you will get a commission for if they purchase it. Anyway, WP.com does not allow it so they will shut you down if they catch you.

That’s why I use Blogger when I make free blogs because they do allow affiliate links and they allow adsense as well. Adsense is just google ads and you make extra money if someone clicks on them. So that’s two good reasons to choose Blogger.

Remember though they can still shut down your blog so you don’t want to get too attached to it, it needs to be dispensable. So if it disappears you just say,”Oh well,” not scream OMG my blog’s gone! And be upset for days on end.

The bottom line is if you make a blog and value it you need to sign up with a web host and buy a domain so that you have complete control then they can’t touch your baby, oops I mean blog. I will be going into domains and web hosts in another post soon. I did extensive research before I bought both and will fill you in on it here.

Maybe you can’t afford to join the Niche Blogger or don’t know what you want to do right now. That’s ok take your time, I’ll be giving away free advice here most days or if you have a question just ask.

Not that I know it all by any means, but I can help people who are like I was in the beginning. And mind you these are things I learned while in the 30 Day Challenge and Wealthy Affiliate before I even got to the Niche Blogger.
