Make Blogs

In a matter of minutes you can have a make money blog. All you have to do is go to blogger and make a blog on a topic of your choice, add google ads to it, then when someone clicks on the ads you make money. Sounds simple right?

Of course, what I just wrote is possible, however, most likely not probable. There’s a couple of things missing that would be of great benefit. First of all, you need a product that you know is in demand. Second, you must drive traffic to it. Now, it stands a chance of being a money making blog.

Did I know any of this when I began? No I didn’t, so I wasted a lot of time and effort trying to sell something I liked or was ‘passionate’ about. It’s Ok to be passionate about something, but it may not be in demand by everyone else and they’re the ones who will buy it. Bottom line there needs to be a market for it.

These are simple things I know and many veteran marketers know this stuff, but new comers aka newbies don’t know anything about a money making blog. They think like I did, make blogs and the money will come.

Then there’s the traffic issue. How in God’s name do you get people to the blog? You need to think about this and know at least a couple of ways or maybe more. To have a money making blog you will need traffic to do it. No people no money.

The key though isn’t just any traffic, but targeted traffic. The people who are hungry for your product and will buy it. Where are they and how do you get them? The answer is advertising. You can do it the free way or you can pay for it.

You can have a money making blog and not have to pay for traffic or advertising, although, it does require time and work. As mentioned in a previous post you can write articles and submit them to article directories with a link to your site this is one of the best ways to get free targeted traffic.

Another way is with the use of forums. You simply join several forums choosing a couple that are relevant to your product so you can possibly sell your product there. Then join a couple that are make money online focused so you can share ideas and learn new techniques from veteran marketers.

Not knowing how to promote or advertise your blog can cost you and I know this from experience. I didn’t really know what I needed to know until I got a coach to show me step by step what to do. Coaching isn’t free, but it’s less than a dollar a day and helps me make money faster.
