Make Money Without Money

To make money without money you will need to spend something and that something is time. If you have time and are not working a job or not caught up in some other project you will be able to make money without money. The key is focus you must focus!

It’s not easy to focus if your mind is off on a tangent thinking about 50 other things. Therefore, be sure to cut off all distractions and settle down to the task at hand.

If you’re new to making money online then you have much to learn so the first focus needs to be study. Then implement what you learn don’t put off doing what you learn. This is a common mistake newbies make which is learning and not doing.

Many veteran marketers believe it’s laziness when newbies don’t do anything, but I don’t think so, I think it’s FEAR! I still have fear of doing something techie or whatever, because I know if I do one wrong click I can wipe out an entire blog.

This is true, I did it, one wrong click and I lost all my hard work. However, I’m still here some 9 months later I lived through it and since created several other blogs.

The deal is you have to do it afraid and suffer the consequences of dumb mistakes or you will never make money without money. It’s all part of the make money online pursuit. So, if you’re scared it’s normal, but don’t allow it to stop you.

To make money without money takes longer and is harder simply because you cannot afford to pay for mentors, ebooks and other tools that help you make money online.

Take heart, there is the 30 Day Challenge that started their preseason yesterday and is FREE help for newbies who want to learn internet marketing. In my opinion it’s better than many of the programs online that you have to pay for.

After you start making money it’s wise to find a good mentor and to keep learning from them so as to save time and cut through the learning curve.

Which is exactly what I did and still do. I plan to follow the 30 Day Challenge to pick up new ideas or to revamp on basics. I’m also a member of the Niche Blogger membership site and continue to learn there from Amy Bass my daily mentor.

If you want to make money niche blogging there’s a free 3 day trial available just click here for details or you can get a free report by clicking on the green button to the right.

Affiliate Marketing Programs

There are hundreds of affiliate marketing programs that you can sign up for online. However, it would be wise of you to do your due diligence before you sign up, especially if you’ve never heard of them before.

As I have mentioned in another post you need to make sure when you choose a product that there are affiliate marketing programs that sell the product you choose.

I have also mentioned that as a new blogger it’s a good idea to use trusted names since your readers don’t know you or trust you YET. Therefore, if you use a trusted name like Ebay or Amazon you may have better success.

If you have not applied as yet for any affiliate marketing programs then I would like to give you a 5 tips so that hopefully you won’t get rejected.

1. Have your blog or site set up BEFORE you apply. They will ask for a web address and you need to have something to put in there. Even if it’s a Blogger blog that you threw together in 20 minutes it’s best to have something.

2. I know I just said even if it’s a Blogger blog, but if you can have you own domain and hosting it looks more professional and it will help.

3. Content is king so try your best to have quality original content.

4. Have a clean, uncluttered blog/site not a spammy looking one.

5. Make sure all links are working and everything is in order such as an about page and a privacy page if you use adsense (per adsense TOS).

You could still get rejected by some affiliate marketing programs, but just keep applying and you will get accepted. I have never heard of anyone being rejected by Amazon, however, there are many rejection stories going around about Ebay.

Some other popular affiliate marketing programs are Commission Junction aka CJ, Shareasale, Linkshare and the Pepperjam network. I don’t want to leave out Clickbank it’s very popular since it’s all digital and the product can be downloaded at purchase.

Affiliate marketing programs can make you a lot of money, consequently, it’s in your best interest to research and find ones that will be a perfect fit for your business. Meaning, they will pay you in a timely fashion and satisfy your customers needs. A poor affiliate marketing program can kill your credibility.

As time goes on you will build trust in your readers and you don’t want to jeopardize it by them having a bad experience with their purchase.

That said, take your time do your research and if you think you need guidance check out the best niche blog coaching online, the Niche Blogger.

Blog Posts

How often to write blog posts varies from blogger to blogger. Some bloggers write a post every day. I have never been one of those I do good now to write one a week. I used to do one every 4-5 days then I set up more blogs, so it got cut back to one every 7 days.

This is something you need to not do and that is to not set up so many blogs that you can’t keep up with them. I am guilty of this and have 3 blogs that haven’t had a post in 6 months. Of course, they were the first ones, so they were sort of experimental blogs.

Now, I write blog posts once a week for 3 blogs. This seems to be doable for me. I also write 2-4 articles a day for other sites, so I write usually 7-12 hours a day.

Naturally, the more you write the better you get, at least that’s how I see it. However, much of this time is spent on keyword research because web writing is all about SEO.

Before you write blog posts or any article online there must be keyword research. That is, if you want traffic flowing. Otherwise, your site will be buried in the abyss of cyberspace. This is why the study of SEO is imperative for bloggers and all web writers.

On the other hand, you can have auto blogs where the content is drawn from the web. You can do this with a plugin on WordPress using either wp-o-matic, wp- autoblogger or smartrss. There may be others that I’m unaware of, so do your homework.

I have not used them as I like to write my own content. Auto blog content is usually not of good quality as you can imagine. I know people make money with them, but that’s it.

I have thought about creating an auto blog just to try it out and may eventually do it. However, I believe content is king and have been trained to publish only original work.

At the Niche Blogger Amy teaches us to use original content, so I adhere to what I’m taught. After all, why have a mentor if you’re not going to follow their lead.

We should all have an online mentor to guide us in the right direction. If you have been going in circles then click here for a free 3 day trial at the Niche Blogger.

Learn SEO First

If you plan to set up a blog or website you need to learn SEO first. Don’t go blindly into it without at least knowing the basics, because you will make really dumb mistakes that will COST you big time! How do I know this? Well, how else? I did it! My first blog, God rest it’s soul, is out there in cyberspace doing nothing.

I fully admit this is due to my stupidity. Now I know, some 8 months later in the deal, what SEO is and continue to study and work on techniques as I go, as all bloggers and web owners should. If not, then we deserve to fall on our face.

Yes, you can outsource it, but many times the so called SEO experts use language we don’t understand and tell us anything. Then follow up with not doing anything as well.

So, I say again learn search engine optimization aka SEO first! If you don’t have any idea what it is then you definitely need to do your due diligence and get busy studying.

If you don’t do this your site will not be found by search engines or people and will be of no benefit to you or anyone else. You may be a great writer with killer graphics and all the bells and whistles, but if the site isn’t optimized then it’s dead in the water.

You don’t have to be an expert just get the basics down. Find a profitable niche using keyword tools then you will know what domain name and title is best. It helps if the title is in the url. The post titles should have keywords as well as the content of those posts.

Everything needs to be relevant using synonyms and LSI this includes links coming inbound. If you leave a comment on a blog make it one that is relevant to your site. Look for high ranking sites to leave comments and ask to trade links with them.

Learn SEO first, it isn’t hard you just need to get the facts and use them. Research and read is the best advice I can give and another big tip is to check out Griz’s site at Make Money for Beginners, it’s a blogspot, but don’t let that fool you, he’s the man when it comes to search engine optimization. If you’re wise you’ll check him out.

And if you’re a complete newbie do the 30 Day Challenge, it’s free and a great way to learn basic internet marketing skills.

I also recommend the use of a mentor and the Niche Blogger is the best place for blog mentoring. You can check it out for 3 days free by clicking here.

Effective Websites/Blogs

Effective websites are ones that do what you have designed them to do. If it’s not doing what you want it to then it’s not effective. Blogs are the same way, after all, a blog is a website. Many times it’s traffic or the lack of, but there are other reasons why a site isn’t effective. Let’s see if we can pinpoint some areas that need a little tlc.

First of all, is your niche focused or are you all over the place? Is it a lucrative niche and did you do the proper research beforehand? Meaning from the beginning did you research before you bought the domain name? Proper research is a huge factor!

To have an effective website either you or the web designer needs at least basic knowledge of SEO. If not then you can throw it out with the bath water! The content must be on target and well SEO written material, staying focused on keywords.

Do you have good information that people need or want? If you have a blog are you posting at least once a week? Are you pursuing back links? If not why not?

For an website to be effective it needs to have easy navigation as well as a good layout. Additionally, if it takes too long to load or has flashing pop ups and noise people will hit the back button asap! Most people are in a hurry and won’t tolerate hang ups.

Promotion is a major issue, which I go into detail in my promote your website post. So, I’m not going to elaborate on it here, just know, no promotion, no effective websites!

It’s also a good idea to seek opinions from other marketers. The Warrior forum is a great place to have your site critiqued, so that you will get opinions from others who know what to look for. Your friends or family may be clueless in this area.

Effective websites/blogs take time and work. Not to mention, things change fast on the web, so what was effective 6 months ago may not be effective today!

Stay on top of technology and continue to educate yourself on an on going basis. Don’t be a slacker or your site will not be effective, but instead will be lost in cyberspace.

For us to keep up with what to do and how to do it we may need help. A mentor is a great way to do it click here for a free 3 day offer at the Niche Blogger membership site.

Make Money on the Web

If you want to make money on the web you can if you’re willing to do what it takes to do it. Not only that you must be patient because it takes time. Many people give up way too soon and miss out on a great opportunity to work from home.

Like many other people I too thought it would be easier and faster than it is. Of course, I messed it up myself by fooling around trying to do it without help. It’s like going in to perform surgery without going to med school. Not a good idea!

When you finally do make money on the web that’s when you realize you really can do it. Once you do it you’re hooked! From this point on it’s do or die.

One of the best ways to do is by blogging. It takes work upfront, but in the long run it will turn into passive income working on auto pilot with minimal effort from you.

The most important thing you can do is study search engine optimization and how to use keywords effectively in your writing, it can make you or break you. Don’t try to start up a blog without knowing this vital information.

When you take time to get educated and research you will make money on the web. Once you acquire knowledge of keywords and SEO you can start writing posts.

Then you begin article marketing to drive traffic to your blog. If you don’t know how article marketing works, google bum marketing and check out Travis Sago’s site he has a free ebook that gives you all the instruction you need.

Naturally, it’s best to have a mentor to help speed up your progress. I wish I would’ve had one in the beginning. The great thing is that I do have one now.

You can have one too just Click here to start free or get more information.

WordPress Blogs

WordPress blogs are great for anything you want to do online. There are three types of WP blogs. There is WordPress.com, WordPress.org and WordPress Direct, which many people learn about through the 30 Day Challenge that just started the 1st of August.

Before I move on to explaining these three blog platforms let me quickly send newbies off to do the 30 Day Challenge. It’s a great way to learn affiliate marketing and it’s free.

WordPress blogs can be used as a completely free platform on WordPress.com. However beware they do not allow monetizing and will shut you down. This may change in the future who knows, but as of right this moment don’t try it unless you want problems.

Moving along to WordPress Direct they give you three blogs free that are set up and ready to go. You can opt for auto content if you so choose, but be advised that this is a controversial issue among bloggers. Those who write their own content call them spam blogs because the content is scraped. Be prepared to defend yourself!

This is true I suppose, but who am I to sling mud at those who either can’t or don’t want to write their own content. It’s a good way to test the market and for newbies to get a start. I say do whatever you feel comfortable doing.

Also, know that WP Direct has upgrades that you can purchase if you want more than three blogs. I do not know the cost I’m sure if you research the info it’s out there.

The last WordPress blog is WordPress.org. You can get free WP themes/templates, but you have to pay for web hosting and a domain name. This is the best of the three choices, since you will own it and can do pretty much as you please.

The issue here is that newbies have to learn how to do all the basic level techie stuff. All the info is online if you do the research. Youtube has video demonstrations on all the WordPress blogs on how to set them up and FTPing and all that.

I didn’t do it that way, however, but it is possible. I had to get step by step instruction, since I was so computer illiterate. In other words I chose to get a mentor.

I already had Blogger blogs, but they’re extremely simple compared to WordPress blogs. Anyway, I needed more help than most, so I joined the Niche Blogger to get it.

Now WordPress blogs aren’t intimidating to tackle or any of the other techie things that need to be done. If I need help I get it in the Niche Blogger membership forum.

If you’re struggling online to make money and techie stuff is holding you back then opt for a mentor. Follow this link to try the Niche Blogger free for three days.

Or get the free blogging report by clicking on the green button to the right.

Don’t struggle and waste valuable time like I did in the beginning. A mentor or coach saves you money and time in the long run.

Make Money with Clickbank

There are several ways to make money with Clickbank, so there should be something for everybody if they have any desire at all to make money online. Just in case you’ve never heard of Clickbank it’s a site that sells only digital products.

Clickbank is where many affiliate marketers get their feet wet. This is because it’s so easy to become an affiliate. The way it works is you join, they give you an affiliate ID, you make a hoplink, which is a link to the product with your ID, then when someone clicks on it and buys you make money.

Sounds easy enough on the surface, however it’s easier said than done. The reason for this is you need to be first a good writer and know how to presell as well as a good marketer. Then you need to be able to get traffic to your site.

But wait, it doesn’t stop there you must have a good product or they won’t buy and if they do and it isn’t then you will get refunds.

Worse yet, Clickbank has hoops they make you jump through to get paid. However, if you’re willing to go through all that’s required then you can make money with Clickbank.

Okay, you know you can be an affiliate and sell their products so let’s go into other ways to make money with Clickbank. You can also sell your product at Clickbank, that’s right, if you can create an ebook then you can sell it there.

Then once you have your own product on the market you can have affiliates selling it for you and make money with Clickbank this way.

You can also have a Clickbank store also known as ClickbankMall. And yet another way is refer others to Clickbank and get a referral fee.

Now you have several ways to make money with Clickbank. All you need to do choose one and get going. It helps if you have a blog or site already set up then you can insert hoplinks and use article marketing to drive targeted traffic.

If you’re a newbie, just starting out, then you may need help figuring out how make money with Clickbank on your own. I suggest doing the 30 Day Challenge to get basic affiliate marketing skills, it’s free and is designed with newbies in mind.

I also recommend the Niche Blogger membership site, there you will learn how to build blogs for profit and multiple ways of making money online.

Internet Marketing Strategy

If you want to make money blogging you need an internet marketing strategy, maybe several strategies. If you don’t it will take you twice as long to be successful. I’m going to list 4 that I believe are the most important.

1. The first one is to design a blog or site that is effective. Whether your goal is to make money, educate, rant or whatever, you need to be able to do it or source it out. For example, if not for Amy, my coach, I would not have been able to set up this blog.

Therefore, my internet marketing strategy when I started was to find a mentor who could help me set up a blog the way I wanted it.

2. The second internet marketing strategy you need to have is to learn SEO aka search engine optimization. If you don’t then you need to source that out as well. This will help you get high volume targeted traffic, no traffic = no success.

This is an area I study quite a bit, go after back links and learn all I can about keyword research. It is time consuming, but worth the effort.

3. The third one I have not started doing as yet and that is building an email list. To do this you place an opt-in box for visitors to put their info in. This internet marketing strategy will help you to have a better relationship with your readers and you can send them info on up and coming products along with your monthly newsletter.

4. The fourth internet marketing strategy is very important. And that is to have a coach, mentor or someone who has a proven method that will show you how to get where you want to go. This will save you time and money.

I wish I would have known this when I first began then it would have made things a lot easier. The longer you fool around not knowing what you’re doing the more it costs you.

When I read Amy’s story about how she paid off her $72,000 debt I knew she could guide me in the right direction. I was tired of phony guru claims of making $1000 in an hour.

If you need an internet marketing strategy that works Amy has one you can try for free by clicking on the link below.

Get Paid to Blog

Do you want to get paid to blog? If you’re a blogger the answer is most likely YES! If you want to get paid to blog there are several ways to go about it.

The first way you can get paid to blog is to work for a company that pays you to write for them. You update and maintain it and keep good content flowing that will hopefully bring them business. They in turn pay you per post or by the hour depending on the arrangement. It’s a good idea to be familiar with them and their business.

Another way to get paid to blog is to maintain your own blog and accept assignments from companies who pay you a fee to blog about their product or service.

Both of these options are good to get you a little spending money and help promote your writing. No matter what or who you write for you should do your best you never know who will read it. You might attract more customers if you do your best.

My favorite way to get paid to blog is to build my own blogging empire. You can do this while you do the other blogging jobs then when you make it big and are raking in the dough you can opt out of the others and pursue this full time.

There are people getting on the internet everyday to look up information and to purchase products. Why not have your blog ready and waiting for them to land on IT!

Yes, it’s competitive, but if you know what to do and how to do it you can beat out your competition. If you don’t know what to do then you need a mentor or coach this will save you from losing your mind trying to figure it out.

If you’ve been following this blog you know that I belong to the Niche Blogger and that I believe it’s, hands down, the best membership site on the internet to discover how to maximize profit from blogging. It also has the best method.

The good news is that to experience what the Niche Blogger is about you can opt for a FREE 3 day offer just CLICK HERE to check it out.
